TRACY Tracy started B#Sharp Entertainment in Springfield in 2002. Tracy was born and raised in Springfield, and has a degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from MSU. Tracy is married to Mark (who is also the Springfield equipment manager) and has two children, Kyleigh and Jaxon! How long have you been with B#Sharp Entertainment: Our Kansas partner, Michelle Lane along with my sister Shelly Jacob’s started B#Sharp Entertainment in 1996. Myself and Shelly started our Springfield branch in 2002. What is your favorite part about being a DJ: What is there not to love? I have the best job on earth! When I'm the DJ at a wedding ceremony and reception, and the bride comes thru the doors to walk down the isle, it never fails, I always think to myself that I could not have a better job! What is your favorite type of party to work, and why? Weddings, Casino parties, birthdays…they’re all fun. What type of music do you personally listen to the most on your own time? I’m very passionate about all types of music! No way I can say one genre is better than another…there is a time and place for everything. What makes a good DJ? The only way to truly be successful at anything is to absolutely love and be passionate about it! To really be a great DJ, you have to be smart, quick with decisions, and of course have a big knowledge of music but most important of all, you have to truly LOVE people! If you were throwing a very important party, what B#Sharp DJ would you pick to work for you and why? It really depends on what kind of party I’m throwing! Bottom line, I have confidence in every single DJ on my team. I would put the talent of ANY one of the B#Sharp DJ’s up against the very best DJ from each of our competing companies…and I’m confident we would come out on top EVERY single time for every single event!
