Shelly Shelly grew up in Springfield and went to Hillcrest high school. She has 4 years of college under her belt, but decided to do bigger and better things with her early 20’s! She started B#Sharp Entertainment in Kansas City at only 22 years old, and quickly rose to the top of the DJ field! Shelly is an outstanding DJ who can make ANY event a huge success! How long have you been with B#Sharp Entertainment: Since Day one and STILL ROCKIN' Favorite Part about being a DJ: Where to start…I love music, and love to be a part of the party...wait I AM THE PARTY! I always feel honored at weddings to be a part of someone’s special day, and I love the chance to make it perfect for them. I have also developed lifetime friendships with so many of my clients from working so closely with them! Favorite type of party: I like all parties, but every time I work a wedding, I feel like I’ve made a lifetime memory for that family, and to me, that is priceless. Also Bar/Bat Mitzvah's any Kid /teen now thats a party! What type of music do you personally listen to the most on your own time? Funk, Disco, Classic rock and ANYTHING 80’s. If I were to have a DJ at my OWN party, I would tell them to bring on PRINCE! What makes a good DJ? Someone who is passionate about music and who has the ability to put their client first in EVERY situation. Remember, your DJ makes or breaks the party! Most events have a wide age range and variety of different music tastes…a good DJ can read each crowd, to keep the floor packed all night long! AND A DJ MUST ENTERTAIN! If you were throwing a very important party, which B Sharp DJ would you pick to work for you and why? I have to start by saying that I have personally hand picked and trained EVERY DJ in this company and I am 100% confident in ALL of their skills! Having said that, here are a few of my personal choice: When i got married 1-21-11 at the Uptown theater in Kansas City, Mo, I chose DJ Alsica & DJ Molly because I felt they knew my best taste in music. For a New Years party? For SURE Adam. A party for my niece (who is 13) DJ Rhianda or DJ Aliscia! A high stress event where the pressure is on for professional perfection DJ Molly, Adam, Aliscia, Or DJ Mike Riley . If I wanted to CLUB it up? DJ Tracy or DJ Aliscia or DJ Adam.. When I set down with my brides I try to "Best Match" you who I think fits your personality and music taste its a hard job but trust me its very inportent!!! Also We Do Karaoke and the BEST Karaoke DJ is Tara!
