Chris (Big Kitch) Chris works behind the scenes, but has one of the most important jobs of all! Chris is the Kansas City equipment manager He has His EMT and Firefighting behing his belt so not only can he save your life, he can Magically set up your party/Wedding in No time and perfect sound…which means he is in control of every set up, every event! His position is just one thing that makes B#Sharp different from other companies. Having one person specifically in charge of every single set up insures that each set up is done right…EVERY SINGLE TIME!
How long have you been with B#Sharp Entertainment: since 2004 I have had my hand in almost every event.
Official title: Kansas City’s Equipment manager and Roadie,DJ Shelly’s Husband. I am Not a DJ but I can tell you EVERYTHING there is to know about sound, Lighting and Equipment and up lighting.
What is most important about your position: Making sure each set up is done correctly, sound checked, and tested for every show we do. I also manage the equipment, which means I keep the equipment and lights organized, and in perfect working order. If there is a problem....I am just minutes away to solve ANY problem.
Personally I think that is just one of the many things that makes B# different then any DJ company MOST DJ company's have there DJ set there gear up with NO back up plan. I ALWAYS HAVE A PLAN!
If you were throwing a very important party, which B Sharp DJ would you pick to work for you and why: My Wife Shelly or Sister-in-law Tracy because I’m afraid of what they would do to me if I DIDN’T say them LOL! Over the last year I think DJ Aliscia has REALLY became my best DJ, She also DJed my wedding along With DJ Molly and it turned out to be 100%!! Also Adam, DJ Robb And Chara are some of my top choices. Recently I was ask how long it takes me to set up gear SO....I timed it. I can have your gear set up in 10 min or less if needed. I do 20-30 Set-ups each week and Its my Job to make sure the gear is 100% Looking and sounding great. My Dj are spoiled! They get to walk in to a perfect set-up and personally I think that takes alot of stress off your DJ at any event knowing that I have there back 100% If there is a problem I make SURE its solved and the client has no idea there was one to start with.
