Dr. William Roston's Biography Born in Gallion Ohio 1936. Grew up on a small farm outside Iberia Ohio. Graduated Ashland College 1960. Graduated KC College of Osteopathy and Surgery 1966. Moved to Forsyth Missouri in 1967, due to a love of fishing. Became S.C.U.B.A. certified in 1979 and started photography after a challenge from one of his instructors that there was nothing to photograph in fresh water. Won National Nikon Photo Contest in 1982 Honored by American Fisheries Society Inducted into the Aquasports Hall Of Fame in 1989 Featured in over 50 publications Also very successful in the horticulture field as an expert of the hosta |
